Our software course will briefly cover the basics of Android Studio and Java. Students are expected to have some understanding of algorithm development and are expected to have some experience with basic flow control Java. During the course, we will be covering the basics of the FTC programming environment and will also provide students with a thorough understanding. Students will be able to write code for a robot. Through this program, students should develop the ability to use the FTC ecosystem in order to program a robot to follow driver input. At the end of the course, students will be able to apply their new skills on a special project.
Our 3D-Design class will cover topics like making and assembling different parts. By the end of this class, students should be able to create and assemble mid-complex mechanical structures using CAD software. To demonstrate their abilities, we will be 3D-printing three of each student’s creations and mailing them to help them visualize how CAD applies in real life.
Classes will be held on:
3D-Design 10:00-11:00 AM July 25/26 and August 1/2
Software 4:30-6:00 PM July 25/26 and August 1/2
