Community Impact
NorCal Bot is a Discord bot we developed to help NorCal teams conveniently view competition and team registration data. The bot has been widely accepted by the NorCal and larger FTC communities; over 800 members in 17 different Discord servers have logged over 6.1k commands.
Our Ultimate Goal Scorer App was the first Android / web app to be published that could score Ultimate Goal matches. The Android app has over 190 downloads in over 20 different countries and the web app has over 700 logged uses.
Mentoring Teams: We directly mentored 10 teams this season (8 in the US, 1 in Brazil, 1 in Netherlands). We shared our experiences with match strategy, hardware / software design, advanced computer vision, outreach, and more.
