Burlingame Qualifying Tournament 11/24/2019
At the Burlingame Qualifying Tournament, our team was the Winning Alliance first pick, and we also were nominated for third place Inspire Award. We're very proud of our team's efforts and we're looking forward to competing at NorCal Regionals.

Mentoring RoboForce Team 13356
This season, we mentored a rookie FTC team, RoboForce. We taught them the basics of Java, Android Studio, GitHub, Autodesk Inventor, and hardware. We occasionally dropped in their meetings to make sure they were doing fine and helped them along the way. At the Burlingame QT, they coincidentally alliance partners with us, and they were the captain of the winning alliance at the Sacramento QT. We are very proud of their work and hope to see them compete at NorCal Regionals.

RoboAvatars India Outreach - June/July 2019
​Over the past summer, we did international outreach in 2 different cities in India. We did 2 sessions at a robotics academy in Chandigarh, and 1 session at Blue Bird High School in Panchkula. Most of the students had a basic understanding of robotics, and we gave a more in-depth explanation of the design process. We also gave them tips on how to implement these principles into their own FLL robots, which they have begun building.

MSJE STEAM Night - 05/21/2019
We went to a local elementary school and invited different school groups (Science Olympiad, FLL, Cub Scouts, etc.) relating to STEAM. They came and showed what they did over the school year. This was planned during MSJE's Open House night, so we were able to impact over 500 students.

RoboAvatars x Google 12/23/2019
We went to Google Headquarters in Mountain View. There, we learned about 3D printing. We gave a presentation to some Google employees and answered their questions. We received feedback from them as well.

​RoboAvatars x Finisar 11/26/2019
Finisar is a company that manufactures optical communication components. We learned about the different machines they had, and were lucky enough to go inside their clean room. We learned how connections on PCB's are made. We were also told about the importance of computer vision in this field.
